Autoaddress 1.x End of Product Life Cycle Notice

1st March 2019 is the End of Product Life Cycle for Autoaddress 1.8 and older versions.  Customers must migrate to Autoaddress 2.0 before this date.  Customers are advised to contact our support team who will assist with the transition.

Why are we doing this?

Autoaddress 2.0 has been available since September 2015.  It includes functionally richer technology and has been designed from the ground-up to support Eircode.    All new Autoaddress customers since September 2015 use Autoaddress 2.0, and most of our existing customers have migrated to Autoaddress 2.0.  

We are nearing the completion of a project to migrate our solution to a fully serverless environment (AWS Lambda).  This has required a complete overhaul of our technology stack.  Servers can take between five and fifteen minutes to launch and provision, which impacts our ability to quickly scale when demand increases.  In a serverless environment scaling is instantaneous.   The benefits also include improvements to reliability and security, faster software and data updates and will facilitate our expansion into international markets.

What are we doing?

On 1st March 2019 we will shutdown our server based infrastructure and calls to our Autoaddress 1.x endpoints will fail.

What do you need to do?

Customers MUST migrate to Autoaddres 2.0 before 1st March 2019.  Customers who do not migrate by that date will be unable to access Autoaddress 1.8 and earlier versions after 1st March 2019.
